What Should a Digital Business Card Page Include?
A digital contact page has a specific job: help someone identify you, understand your role and contact you. It does not need to carry every detail from the company website.
Lead with essential information
Include the person’s name, role, company and a concise description of the relevant service. Make telephone, email and website actions clearly labelled. If a location is relevant, link to the correct map. Check that the information matches the printed card and the company’s public contact details.
Keep the page focused
Choose a small number of useful links, such as a portfolio or a service introduction. Avoid several competing buttons with vague labels. A visitor who met you at an event should be able to understand the page without remembering the entire conversation. Images should support recognition while keeping the page comfortable to use on a phone.
Test the complete journey
Open the page from the NFC card and from any alternative QR route. Test telephone and email links and confirm that important information is visible without excessive scrolling. Decide who will maintain the page and how updates will be approved. Collect only information that is needed if the page includes a form.
